Light Up the Sky Fireworks

Our yearly trip to Elk Grove Park to see the Fireworks light up the sky...We had good company and great seats as always and the kids loved it...I have memories of Dalen and Deveon sitting in the umbrella strollers talking and laughing and pointing at the bursts in the sky...Lexi telling Grandma "It makes my heart happy"...Noah shoveling popcorn as he played around with the other kids in our group...and then as soon as the first firework shot up, he did a quick tap dance as he scurried over to me for comfort, I swooped him up and there he sat in my lap for the rest of the show not moving a muscle...Good Times:)

Why does this kid look drunk happy???

The Runnig Miles Family

Josh ran his 10K using this as his training for his marathon in November and I ran my first 5K and didn't die! It was great to have worked for something and see it through to the end...I will continue running throughout my pregnancy and maybe do another 5K soon!

Daddy's Sparklers

Every Year Josh buys lots of fireworks to set off in our backyard...The kids love and are finally at the age where they look forward and remember it and expect it...We bought this one called New York Harbor Fountain and it was out of control, off the hook, crazy loud and we were wondering when it would end...Noah was not too sure about the small fireworks but warmed up until the Big one at the end but he remained calm and quiet...
