It was HARD!!! But I did it! and I absolutley love my Medal!!!
This was my goal after I had Lily, my last child, to get back in shape by training to run 13.1 miles in a half marathon with Josh, April and Jesse... It was a crazy day but I will always be proud of myself and know that they were right there cheering me on right next to me...

LA Marathon 2011

LA's Big 5K

{Josh chose our nicknames...Dalen was donut and Deveon was cheeto}

Josh and I ran with Dalen, Deveon and cousin Bella

These kids did so awesome...there were like 4 hills during the route and they finished strong ;) We were bummed that Maya and Auntie April missed out since Maya broke her little arm the day before but we were glad to have Bella still come with us...

Uncle Jesse ran the race with cousin Kenzie since they could run a little faster...

The next race we need to run for a cause, I think this one looks good...lol

Here's a video clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live...they were out there in the Marathon route tricking people with nailed down water bottles...how mean can you be seriously! It was pretty funny though, thought I'd share ;)

Running through Sacramento

Josh * Erick * Adam
The night before the race {in honor of these guys} we took them out for a pasta carbo-load at Carmines here in Elk Grove. We had the six of us adults and all our kiddos {9} It was a lot of fun...
The race started in Folsom, CA and ended in Discovery Park, Sacramento CA {where the Sacramento and the American River meet} 26.2 miles to be exact! While the guys ran, Erick's wife {my BF Tami} and I plus all 6 of our kiddos drove around to meet them at various points throughout the trail to cheer em' on and give them banana's, drinks, and kisses! They really loved the support...We really tried to make it to all of the spots but I believe we made 3 out of the 5 cheer spots...but they were happy to see us each time...and we were happy to cheer for them even our friend's hubby whose daughters had soccer games so we stepped in for her {minus the kisses ha!}...
Finishing the Race with Dalen and Deveon...
The Proud MARATHONERS after the Race {eating Chili - Josh said he had three bowls and his tummy growled after his third bowl} Later that night, we all went to Texas Roadhouse {this time minus kids} and then went to see 2012...It was a crazy but fun weekend...
