A few weeks ago I spoke in Sacrament Meeting on Prayer...I wanted to attach it here so I would always have it and if anyone wanted to read it...

I have a special place in my heart for prayer...It somehow always helps me get thru tough times when I kneel and speak to my Heavenly Father and I hope to teach my children thru example how to have a relationship with Him too...

Protecting Marriage and Families
Our church has really come out and taken a stand regarding Proposition 8 (Protecting Marriage) and I found this statement in the Newsroom off our Church's website. www.lds.org It's kinda long but it really gave good insight on how important this political issue really is and how it could affect us and our families and children if we don't do everything to protect marriage now...

Footprints vs. Buttprints
A thought sent to me via email from my friend Sandra;
'You can't leave footprints in the sands of time if you're sitting on your butt. And who wants to leave buttprints in the sands of time?'
Love it!

My New Ring
As many of you know, I am apparently not too careful with my jewelry and I finally hit rock bottom last year as I somehow lost my big stone out of my original wedding ring:( ...So after a year of shopping for the right style (for me) and the right price (for Josh) I finally found this ring! It is exactly what I wanted...We ordered it and thought it would be here in time for our Seasonal trip to Simi, but of course it came in the day we left...Thank you Josh for "buying me" again...
