The Human Face

Dig Noah Dig

This was too cute

Noah exploring Deveon's face

"I won a cheeseburger"

Don't mean to brag, but... So I pick up Dalen up from school and during my drilling of questions, Dalen mentions he got a 'reward' today... puzzled, I ask "oh, what kind?" "Well I didn't get the attendance one like some kids got cause I've missed some school, but it has an in-n-out paper on the back and I won a cheeseburger..." So after doing some mom fishing, I realize his school had their first awards assembly for the year and Dalen received some kind of 'reward'...we get home and I open up his backpack and there's nothing in there, Dalen has forgotten his folder at school (second time this year) we drive back to school, get it, talk to Ms. H...realize I must've not gotten her postcard reminder in the mail (cause I seriously check the mail like once a week)...Dalen received the Citizenship Award for his class...I am very proud, his teacher says he is very kind and helpful to his classmates and is a great follower of the school rules...Love him...So tomorrow were going to in-n-out to get his cheeseburger since it's minimum day... yummo!

R.I.P.

This actually makes me kinda sad, Josh and I are selling his old ride and we just listed it on Craigs...He bought this car right off his mission and we've got some good memories of this car...RIP little Mits...hope you find a good home...:(...I learned to drive stick and Dalen and Deveon came home in this car from the hospital...We dated in this car and drove down many times and had the trunk full of Christmas presents and even spun out on the grapevine in the rain...while preggo w/ Deveon...scary...Good times and bad...I don't why I am getting all sappy about this...I just feel sad...
See Josh's new ride:) click here

TOFW

Tami and I went to TOFW (Time Out for Women put on by Deseret book) this past Friday and Saturday and had a great time...just wanted to share a snippet of one of the artists that we heard from...Kenneth Cope...kind of a goofball but what a great voice...My favorite speaker was Mary Ellen Edmunds...very funny lady...refers to Satan as 'What's his no face' since he is bodyless...just one of her many quirky observations on life...After it was over on Saturday late afternoon, Erick and Josh took us out to dinner with all six bambinos to On the Border and then we let them have there 'Time Out for Men' which was a long game of uninterrupted Warcraft...we are sooo nice...I guess we had been spiritually fed all weekend...Does that count for Church?

Yummy Holiday Food
Happy Fall (Soon)

Frezzzz-noooo

So Josh took a business hop for three days to Fresno and we all came with...Hotel, meals and Gas covered, free vacay! for me and the kids neway...but Josh was off everyday at 2:30 so he at least got to enjoy some of the day...We went and visited the Fresno Temple which is a small temple so it was right there behind a local LDS church bldg...We love visitng different Temples when we can...they are truly a gift from God...

I don't know why Fresno exists cause it had nothing as far as outdoorsy stuff or cool landmarks but we think it's cause it's halfway between Sacramento and LA...but what Fresno does have is great Shopping and great Restaurants...I finally got to go to a Crazy 8 store and also visited Anthro, a Super Walmart, Target and both malls...We ate at Famous Dave's and BJ's and went swimming at the luxurious day spa Hamption Inn and Sweets!

Love this store...almost as much as Gymboree but more than Children's Place...

I am...tag from TAMN

I am...a daughter of God, earthly daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister and a freind.
I think...of items I would like to purchase.
I heart...Fall, family, blogging, scrapbooking and money.
I want...to be a better mother
I have...great friends.
I am scared of...something falling on top of me, weird, I know, it's one of my anxieties.
I hate...money, rude/judgemental people, snobs and big messes!
I miss...Santa Cruz w/ Josh, my family down south, being a kid in the summer.
I write...checks, emails, posts and journaling.
I wish...I was taller so stupid baby weight gain could spread a little more evenly.
I fear...the world continuing on the path it's on.

I tag Stockton girls, Steph and Shan, the real Tam, Mel, Devon, Heidi, and Mom...
