Miles Photo Shoot 2012
This one made it to our wall this year ;) Usually we always take our family picture before Christmas and send them out in a Handmade Christmas Card wich is always well thought out all month of November long complete with a cute synopsis of our year...---But this year we were happy to have a photo shoot even if it was in March of this year...Still came out awesome...Thanks Cherie!
Dalen turned 10 years old and just completed the 4th Grade...He was tested for the Gate program. He is such a great babysitter and is really taking a shine to cooking. We love to watch fun cooking contest shows together and he loves doing "fancy restaurant" for the kids when we go out for date night...He will start up Soccer this Fall with his good friend Braden {hopefully they will be on the same team}...He is enjoying being the oldest and sometimes I have to remind him he isn't a third parent hahaha ;) He also loves to play Starcraft in his spare time or with his brothers...Right now their favorite game is T-Rex Dinosaurs...
Deveon just turned 9 years old and is such a cute little guy! He completed the 3rd grade and also was tested for gate... He is following well into the footsteps of Dalen with becoming an awesome little babysitter. He can change diapers, and cook some simple meals too! He loves to play with all his siblings and has such a fun little personality. He also loves to play Starcraft and is learning how to play piano from daddy...
Lexis is turning 7 in two weeks! She is such a beautiful and sweet little girl. She completed the 1st grade and had awesome grades! She has made lots of new friends this year and is such a great helper with Lily and Noah. She is taking a break from beauty pageants for a while but is looking forward to trying cheerleading and dance this fall...She loves living close to her cousins Maya and Bree and has taught herself to swim last summer and is quite the little fish this summer.
Noah is 4 and a half years old and is quite the little charmer and spunky little kiddo... He loves playing with his brothers and Lexi and Lily...He has a great personality like Deveon that meshes well with others. He LOVES the iPad and always knows where it is hahaha... He is a great helper with Lily and has grown up a lot in this last year. He will be starting preschool this fall and already knows how to add and count to "100" ;) Noah also signed with an agent this year and we are just in the process of getting all the details worked out so we will see where it goes! He is our little Bunkaroos!
Lillian is 22 months now and is learning and growing so fast...She is talking and running with the kids and keeps all of us on our toes. She loves to boss all the kids around especially Dalen. She loves to watch Little Bear and Sponge Bob and loves to dress up in my shoes anytime she sees them lying around...She is very girly and always has some kind of bracelets on...She was a little stinker at our photo shoot but thats how she was at that age...;) Our little Lilypie -- She looked good tho hahaha
Me-- Last year I reached my goal of completing a Half Marathon at Disneyland {13.1 miles} I actually ran that distance a total of three times while training for it. I just signed up for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon at Disneyland this January... I turned 30 this past September! and reached another goal of being completly done with having babies by 30! I am now focusing on getting in great shape and maybe possibly becoming a fitness instructor. I have been leading a zumba class on Thursdays at our Church's Boot Camp Excercise Group and I am loving it! Finally I can make up dances again and use them for something!!! ;) I really loved to do this in High school for our Cheerleading Squad and have missed stuff like that...I am also serving in the Primary at church {kids age 18mos-12years} as first Counselor to the President and am helping out with Cubscouts for the boys in our Primary {ages 8-11} ;)
Josh is 32 years and has 3 marathons under his belt. He ran the
Tough Mudder in Squaw Valley for the first time last year with his brother Jesse and brother in law Eric and just completed his second Tough Mudder this past weekend here in Snow Valley. He also started working for a new company last year. He said goodbye to Cardinal Health {6 years} and said hello to City of Hope this past August which meant we moved to So Cal! We lived four months with Josh's parents {with our five kiddos--thank goodness for a big almost empty house at his parents'} while we sold our house and bought here in Santa Clarita! He is loving his new job and is Elders Quorum Prez again at Church...
