As I was doing my weekly, ok, DAILY check on Adam-Lambert.org there was a post of a preview for a show coming this fall and because they used Adam's 'Mad World' song it was news, Glamberts go crazy for any little tidbit of Adam...Thought I would share the preview and BTW the show looks pretty good too...

Our Annual Beach Trip to Monterey, CA
Dalen, Lexi, Deveon and Noah
This year we decided to up our budget and stay in a hotel closer to the Aquarium and nicer than a hotel with no elevator and construction outside our window at 6am...but I don't think we realized how fancy this hotel was...but somehow we survived with four adults and our nine kiddos...We met Josh's sister April and her hubby Eric and their 5 kids from So. Cal for a meet in the middle and play for a weekend...April and I hit the Spa for some R&R with facials and massages since our Hotel had a Spa...it was like "Cruise time" with a jacuzzi on the penthouse deck over-looking the sea...Gor-Geous...

Off to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to explore the new Seahorse Exhibit and Kids Zone...

Hands On for the kids...

Later we made our way to the beach for some playtime in the sand...

Cousins: Maya, Kenzie, Dalen, Bella, Diego, Deveon and Lexi...

After the beach-time was winding down the dad's and kids cleaned up the toys and worked their way back to the hotel while me and April went to get some Pizza and Pasta for the family to eat back at the hotel...the poor bathtubs full of sand...but soon we had happy, full kids that were ready to crash...

Idols Live 09

Our Idols Live Experience 2009

***Remember to pause blog music to listen to clips***

First the Bottom 6 came out one by one and performed and we got to see why they were the bottom 6 ha...then they did a little finale with a song together...Then intermish...Onto Allison followed by Danny Gokey followed by The Sassy Mista Adam Lambert (ahhhh) then Cutie Pie Kris Allen...It was all HOT!

Allison was Awesome of course...totally shoulda beat Danny Gokey

*See here for my predicted outcome way back when*...she totally kicked-A on stage and she knew how to work it all while singing fast upbeat songs...Killer Rockgoddess!

The reason for the Purchase of these TIX...
ADaM LamBerT

and yes his jacket was way Bad...it had tails and everything...

He started out with "Whole Lotta Love" and I stand up along with lots of others and this old lady behind me starts tapping me on my shoulder asking me to sit down...ummm were at a concert??? if you want to sit then stay home...bahhh!

Then hit the song "Starlight" by Muse

Then a duet with Allison singing "Slowride" then slowed it down with "Mad World"

Then the hottest set from David Bowie...this is where he takes his jacket off to reveal his sparkly vest and dances for us all...Josh said it was very 'feminine' and he's probly right but it made me wanna dance which is Adam's true musical goal in life...I got a clip of "Fame" but it's all over the place due to the dancing going on...

And he finishes in True Rockstar Form

On to Cutie Kris...
"Heartless, Ain't No Sunshine and All These Things I’ve Done" (Killers) were the best...
He did guitar, piano and just plain Kris that reminded us all how he won our hearts over...
In True Heartthrob Form

KRADAM finishing off the night :)

Next Concert: David Cook...I love American Idol...:)sigh...

Still Amazed

I am still so amazed that One, I could have a babe with blue eyes and blond hair. Two, I have three boys. Three, I have four kids. Four, That I still want more even after what I went thru with Noah as a baby, and Five, that I am having another baby while this little guy is still my sweet little baby...
But not for long...He is now 19 mos old and is growing up so fast that even when I type this it brings tears to my eyes...He has been my only hard baby but he has been my one and only true mama's boy...He has been attached me from the beginning and still is to this day, whereas the other kids fled to daddy as soon as they knew he was the FuN one...but not this kiddo, I mean he loves a little 'throw' up in the air or onto the bed every now and then but his true love is me...I'm actually worried I might hurt his little feelings when he sees me with a new baby but I guess we still have time for a little while...
Loves the camera and says 'Theeese' for cheese...
Has discovered how cool cars and trains are and even slides them down things and says 'weeeee'

Cutest little profile...

Loves to giggle...and eat and sleep and go bye bye...and loves to get me my shoes, still...loves to watch SYTYCD with me and Spongebob with Daddy and Lexi and Curious George with the kids...Points at everything and if I scream he immediately thinks there is a spider and starts looking around on the floor and up on the cabinets (this is due to me screaming cuz there was a big garden spider on our kitchen cab's one day and I of course freaked out) apparently he learns quick so he's smart too!

Words he has said (but not the only ones he knows):

Mama

Ma-meee

Dada

This (haha) (dis)

Juice (duce)

Baby (bebe)

Snack (nak)

Yah!

Cheese (theese)

Weeeee!

Lambertize:

Adam makes every song his own — the song has been Lambertized. {see full dictionary here}
Rolling Stones says this...
In true Robert Plant style, Lambert made his arrival known, punctuating his three-octave howl on “Whole Lotta Love” with pelvicthrusts and microphone straddling. Dressed to the rock-god nines in ripped and studded leather and denim, Lambert switched gears from hot to cool, soaring on Muse’s “Starlight”{I have this song on my blog} against a moody backdrop of twinkling lights. In an intimate and memorable moment, the gifted goth took a seat for the haunting “Mad World,” showing off his crystalline falsetto as smoke rose around him. After reprising “Slow Ride,” his energetic duet with “little sister” Iraheta, Lambert closed his set with a medley of David Bowie songs — including an ethereal “Life on Mars, Fame and Let's Dance” backed by a glowing graphic of the red planet — then sunk down into the stage, all too soon, to the loudest cheers of the night.
I am so Excited about Friday Night...bring on the Guyliner...
