State Pageant

So Last Year Lexi was in the Gold Coast State Beauty Pageant Talent competition. She competed on Saturday in theTiny Talent Competition and her cousin Sofia was in the Beauty Competition the next day They both won their Divisions! It was so exciting that they both won!

This was Lily's 2nd pageant...She placed 2nd runner-up and got Best Smile 

Lexi ready to go on and compete...I thought she looked so beautiful today! She borrowed her cousin Sofia's dress and did an amzing job modeling up on strage...She brought tears to my eyes...she looked so grown up and I was so proud of my beautiful little girl ;)

Here she is ready to model a costume...She had the cutest little Peacock Routine and I thought she did amazing!

And then she did Talent and sang Somewhere Over the Rainbow and did so good!!!

Lexi placed first runner-up and won Best Eyes, Best Hair and Talent!! I was so proud of her...Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for lunch in Burbank as we were all starving...

Since Lexi won Talent last year at State, part of her duties as a state queen is to come to the pre~liminaries and help pass out trophies and crowns to the new winners...This is her at the last prelim pageant before she gives up her title as Tiny Talent at the State pageant later that month... see her post when she won Talent last year at State here ...Her cousin Sophia was also a state queen so she got to go and help crown with her cuz...added bonus ;) And again Lily, where's the hair?? hahaha

Lexi invited 11 little girls and 2 boys and I think all but one came...She has so many friends and loves to play with them so we had to invite them all...It was a great party and I think all the girls had a fairy fun time!

They had a butterfly hunt outside...Lexi really wanted her best boy-friend to come but since it was a girly fairy party we invited him and his sister and then Cole helped hide the butterflies with Dalen, Noah and Adam -{Sarah's little bro} That way he didn't feel so out of place ;)

Practice, Practice, Practice...

This year Lexi was wanting to try something new at dance class, so we dropped her tap/ballet class and gave the jazz/hip-hop class a try. She loved the more up-beat type dancing it offered and she made some new fun friends...They learned an adorable dance to 'Cuban Pete' from The Mask and performed at the annual Dance Recital...The costume was way cute and Lexi did a great job on her performance...Even though now she is a little embarrased of the dance...It is very Cha-Cha-ish Lol...
