Pop Goes The Camera

***New***

and more here: Princess Pritty Gallery

Pictures from the Photo Shoot...It was Seriously...So...Much...Fun! I loved everything about it...The models wearing my creations, the photographers, the adorable outfits...all of it was just perfect! The photographers absolutley loved Lexi in her cute little outfits and she absolutley loved the camera! They took lots of shots of Lexi and Noah and all the kiddos that were their to be models...The photographers will be posting their pictures on Flickr soon and then I will be able to copy and save those for my website and for my own personal use which was such a great deal...they just needed someone and something to photograph and us moms in turn get great pictures of our adorable little kids all dressed up! Here are some shots from the day...

A couple shots from the shoot...to see others click to view my Princess Prittys Gallery

Here's the rest of the gang...we had about 20 little models (ages 0-8) and there were about 15 photographers...We had the photo shoot up on the grounds of our beautiful Sacramento Temple...We had random couples stop by and take a look at what was going on and that was their question too...A few of the photographers even took some of the little models over to the front of the Temple to take some shots with the granite walls behind them, I haven't even seen those yet...

Thank you to Mark Behrens Photoworkshop for taking cute pictures of all the models...I can't wait to see them! And thank you to all our models and their moms for bringing them out to get pictures taken...It was hot but the kids did so great!

Art Show that I was involved in...This year I was the art docent volunteer for Dalen's classroom...Each month I would give an art lesson and then help them create a work of art using different mediums using the Art Docent Program as our guide.

Different techniques they used throughout the year were: Collage with tissue paper & liquid starch; crayon rubbings; mixing paint colors; oil pastels...

***I finally got my issue today!!!***
after hunting for it everytime I went to Target, WMart, grocery stores etc...(since I wasn't that crazy of a fan)...I was so sick of seeing Lady Gaga's issue though...
(A few weeks ago I posted...)
Is it bad that I plan on buying this issue....?

Just curious...

The other day I was contacted by Mark Behren's Photography. (Take a look at the site, Princess Prittys is on there along with a couple shots of Lex...)Anyways, they want to feature my Princess Prittys in one of their workshop classes. They need little girls from 0-8yrs of age that could model the bows for about 30 student photographers. We are having the photo shoot up at the Sacramento Temple on June 27th from 9-12. They're not going to pay us but they'll give us a CD of all the pictures. I'm way excited about it and even ordered some new stuff to create for it...If anyone comes across this and lives in the Sacramento area, please let me know if you are interested... And as always, I will post the pics from that day too!

"I feel Wicked"

To kick off our summer plans we started out by going out to San Francisco for the weekend. We started our fun on Friday by ditching the kiddos with BF Tami and started our trek to Frisco...Our first stop was in Dublin for dinner at Black Angus: Steak and Lobster and Chocolate Cake with yummy hot fudge sauce...Then we hopped on the BART for the rest of our trek to Frisco...Our next stop was the Parc 55 Hotel which was right in the heart of downtown where the mall is and right down the street from the theatre...Our show, Wicked started at 8pm, and it was at the Orpheum Theatre Downtown

The staging and the fabulous cast...our seats were in the Orchestra Pit...

Saturday Morning we decided to take a long walk/jog up hills and down hills from our hotel to Crissy Park, then over to Fisherman's Wharf for some sidewalk fish, chips and clam chowder in a bowl...appx: 9 miles...then took the trolley back to the hotel and headed home with good memories and a little sunburn from Mr Sunshine...

On our route to Fisherman's Wharf we saw this guy getting out of his scary van and walked the same route with us all the way to his place of business (on the streets at Fisherman's Wharf)...

The beautiful sounds of ocean air....
