"Tricken!!!" says Dalen

We started our night with feeding the missionaries dinner...one was from Sydney Australia and this was his second time having Chili ever!! We fed them early since they had to be in by 6pm for the night...

Then we had the Malcom's over for dinner...here are Natalie, Lexi and Noelle ready to go trick or treating...

The group: Dalen, Deveon, Noelle, Natalie, Preston, and Lexi...

Lexi loved holding grandma's hand from house to house...

Cute Lexi
Spidey Noah
and since our friends Tami and Erick were gone at Disneyland for the weekend, we took good care of their pumpkins that night...
A little rain never stopped anyone...they just moved quicker...
Hope everyone had a nice Halloween night!

Showing their race numbers!

Here comes Dalen in the 1/2 mile with a time of 5:08

Water? after he finished they were giving out oranges, cookies and water, but Dalen thought you had to pay for it until I told him no it's for you cause you finished the race!

Noah drooly baby

Check out how Noah is sitting...

Criss Cross Applesauce

Hands in your Lap

Put a smile on your Face

and Give a little Clap!

Noah is just shy of 11 mos...wow time flies when you have fu...four kids! He's got no. 5 tooth coming on his bottom left...sooo cute, but he bites like nobody's business!

Case of the missing pants...

Today Noah was doing his Army crawl around the house and this was how I found things...Noah had crawled right out of his new pants! hilarious and picture worthy!

As many of you know, my kids basically skip the regural crawling and go from army crawl to pulling up to walking...here's proof...it's starting!

Hey Princess Cake

I was cleaning out my closet the other day and was getting rid of some old purses and stuff and came acrross this cute lil purple purse still w/ tags, so I thought Lexi would like...well she loves it! the girl hordes things in her purse...it brings new meaning to "rocks in her purse"...
I was curious as to what she thought was so important that she just had to have it in her purse so I stole it one afternoon and took a looksy...here's what she had...cotton swabs...guess she wants to be clean...

The bag is sirsly bursting at the seams...I don't think she can fit anything else in there, well maybe just one more lipstick!
Deveon and Lexi are the new twosome here at home...they are like an old married couple...they argue about everything...but are the best of friends...they are so excited to play together when Dev gets home from school...Their favorite things to play right now are "Tahoe" in my bedroom, and "Redding" in Lexi's room...??? too cute

What are the boys up too?

School
The boys have been doing great in school...
Dalen's grades are all in the 90% and above...it's very exciting to see your child succeeding in school...
Deveon is on Max book # 18 and every 10th book we take the family to Top's yogurt! very exciting...He is doing very well acedemically as well...He has made a little friend at school, Addison...but he still can't wait for 1st grade so him and Dalen can play together...love it!
Sports
Deveon just finished up his Gym Class and will be doing Soccer again this winter...
Right now the boys have been training for a race and it is this Friday...They have entered the 3rd annual Falcon Fun Run at a local jr high put on by the track and field sports dept as a fundraiser...we are very excited to go and support them and let Dalen and Deveon participate...

Creative Play

Dalen got some K"Nex for his birthday...these are some of the boys creations...

...and as metioned here more random clicks as I upload my fotos!

Scrapbook Expo 2008

My BF Tami and I went to the Sacramento Scrapbook Expo this past weekend and we got some really fun and new ideas for some projects...Thought I'd share...
We saw these really cool memo/cork/magnetic boards everywhere and thought we could make those...we bought some scrap metal to put on our cork boards and took some pix of some ideas to get our inspiration...so I got three metal sheets to do one for me, Dalen and Deveon...they bring so much home from school...so I will show you when I'm done...

(for non-crafters: you decorate these with whatever you want for your home)
Next was from my new favorite booth Melissa Frances...They had all this shabby chic stuff at wholesale prices and of course it was at the end of all our shopping when we found it so there went my budget...like I ever stay within...these wooden letter blocks were my favorite find...they were marked down from $20.00 to $3.75 each! So I bought like (trying to count) 8!
One for Miles, Princess, and then for some special people...gotta wait til after Chrismas...
Tami and I found these felt die cuts...very cute...
and here's a collage of the rest of my finds...we had a lot of fun...

Marriage questions?

Me: What is marriage?
Dalen (6yrs): You go to the Temple and get married...
Me: Who get's married?
D: a boy and a girl.
Me: Does a boy and a boy get married?
D: nooo
Me: Does a girl and a girl get married?
D: nooo
Me: Why?
D: because if a boy and a boy get married, they can't have any kids and if they don't have kids, there won't be any more people...plus the prophet tells us to marry a girl...

Are you ready to explain to your child about same sex marriage?...what if they decide to start teaching it in Kindergarten w/out your consent? To learn more watch this video...

Legalizing same sex marriage and redefining what God set marriage to be, would be the opening of many doors that will negatively affect our children...

Gym Class

Lexi and Deveon chose Gymnastics as their Fall Activity...This is Lexi's first class in anything and Deveon has been in gym class and Soccer...I have some videos of the two below...They both love their gymnastic class...Lexi does a mean somersault and loves to become a table on the bars oh and did I mention what a social butterfly she is? she already had to have her teacher tell her and another little girl to get back in the rotation cause they were hiding behind a trampoline...Deveon is really good at hanging like a monkey and he's learning to do a back somersault...

Lexi the gymnast

The Balance Beam

Deveon the Gymnast

Trampoline Tricks

The Back Somersault

Look what I found when I was uploading these videos;

Deveon in his Soccer Class last summer:

What are your kids in? Leave comments...

Tea and Brothers

Tea anyone? So part of the Kindergarten curriculum is to learn nursery rhymes for two weeks and end with a Tea Party to learn about Good Manners...so here is Deveon at his (Herbal Tea Party, of course the school's not going to give kidergartners a bunch of caffeine tea, they're all hyper enough as it is)...I came to help out, Deveon had lots of fun...

This is so cute when I come to pick up the boys from school at 2:30, Dalen gets out first then walks to the Kindergarten pick up and waits for Deveon to get of his class then they walk out together where I am waiting...the first week or so they did this they would come out holding hands, but not so much anymore, but it's still cute to see them walking out together...

Dark is betta!

My new hair:
Dark brown + Bangs = Happy girl!

7 Kids!

So our good friends the the Malcoms watched our kids for our trip to San Francisco in August...so now it was our turn...we took their 3 older kids for Friday and Saturday...the kids had a blast...Friday night I took them all to "Old McDonald's", yes my kids still call it that (they even asked, "why does Old McDonald's have an M if it starts with an O?") and then they had movie night...Saturday we went to Dollar Tree and then over to our water park then home to play...It was crazy busy but well worth the trade!
This video is so stinkin' cute...I was trying to capture Noah dancing to Dalen's song, but also got a glimpse of Deveon so into whatever it was they were playing...
