I received this book "I was a really good mom before I had kids" as a Christmas gift from my Sister in law, Shannon. It was a really funny book...so down to earth and hilarious and so true...My favorite part of the book was that every so often they would have these little footnotes of "Dirty Little Secrets" confessed by the moms that they had interviewed for the book...It is must read for all moms who try to do it all and do it all perfectly...just not a reality...Next news...I just found out from watching a rerun of The Rachael Ray Show that the authors published a second book, which is called "Dirty little secrets from otherwise perfect moms"...Can not wait to read it!...So, I thought it would be fun to share some of our own 'Dirty little secrets'...we all have them...I'll go first then you can comment one of yours!
My dirty little secret: I watch Hannah Montana with the kids and I like it! Lexi even has a 'hannah 'tana' chapstick that she is obsessed with...and Dalen has a crush on the girl...we even listen to her music in the car...

So, I've been trying to come up with something ever since we talked the other night. And as I cleaned up breakfast this morning I realized that often I let the kids clean up their own breakfast off the floor. Some might say it's gross, but I'm okay with Adam picking up and eating the cheerios that he dropped on the floor. Our immune systems are built little by little, right. And I'm looking for some strong kids :)

the brthday girl was wearing a dress her mom made. She makes a lot of dresses and tutus for her. she sells them too, let me know if lexi wants one.
