This is my new scrapbook album that I am very excited about! It is a 13 x 15 oversized album with D rings to fit lots of 12x12 pages and it has these 4x6 slot pages to go along with regular pages if you don't feel like making two pages but have lots of pictures...Very cool! Cuts my scrapbook time down by half at times!

A Call from the Teacher

I just had to tell you...and yes it's sappy...

Tonight we came home from our Tuesday night of dropping Dalen off at Karate, then taking Lexi over to gymnastics, grabbing Taco Bell for a quick fix of dinner (if u can call that a healthy dinner but hey what do you do?) then picking Lexi up and going back over to Karate to get Dalen all while I had my friends two boys (6 and 5) plus Deveon being crazy all in the very back then coming home to see Josh for like 10 minutes then off he goes to a church meeting and me getting the kids ready for bed...so while Dalen is in the shower I get a call from Dalen's teacher at school and my Heart sinks...You never know...She just wanted to let me know that she is just so impressed with Dalen and his attitude of wanting to try his best all of the time...she told me how she has never had a first grader so sweet and helpful...She told me he came up to her and said "I like trying my best, is there anything else I can do to be better?" What a funny little kid...I feel so blessed to have been given such a wonderful child. I don't know what I would do without him...I honestly lean on him and as daddy says "Dalen's in charge when I'm not around" it is so true...I can't believe that I trust him so much with the family...I know he will be a wonderful husband and father someday and I will be sad to let him go but glad that I had the chance to be his mother...tear, tear :*)

This is what Josh and the boys were up to last night as I thought he was tucking them in...Ha! Joke was on me...Seriously!?! Oh well they love it and it was super HOT this week...My Baby Noah looks so old now:(

San Diego Pageant (Trip within a Trip)

Lexi and Noah were in a Pageant the first weekend we were down in Simi...My mom, Noah, Lexi and I took a trip down to San Diego on Saturday and visited with our Fam & Friends...Then Lexi and Noah were in the San Diego Beauty Pageant on Sunday...

Finding the Perfect Dress to wear that day, this lady buys and seels pageant dresses from all over then she rents them out at the Gold Coast Pageants

Out of 5 adorable little 3 yr old little girls Lexi placed 1st runner up in the Formal Beauty and won Bathing Beauty She also won a few special awards: Sweetheart Queen, Best Hair, and Prettiest Face-Lexi was such a natural up there on stage...she had a lot of fun...

Noah did good too...Out of 2 Little 1yr old baby boys he placed 1st runner up as well...He also won a few special awards: Gold Coast Charmer, Sweetheart King, Best Eyes, Most Handsome Face and Best Smile...He loved it up on stage, he kept trying to go up on stage when it wasn't his turn...

Our Easter was fun filled with lots of Eggs, Candy, Cousins, Grandmas and Grandpas...We started the day by renewing ourselves at Church then came home to the Miles House to make a simple lunch shared by siblings, cousins, and two sets of grandmas and grandpas...

Next was our Famous Miles' Easter Egg hunt with a few Dubois' eggs mixed in...It's always a crack up when the Easter Bunny tells us to look for something and we're not even sure it was out there to befgin with...so we had a second egg hunt in the house to finish it up...
