On our way home from So. California we stopped in Tracy to hang out at the Big Pumpkin Patch and do he Corn Maze...we had been in the car for about 5 hours thus far so it was a much needed stretch...but due to the rain the night before the Corn Maze was too muddy so we opted for a train ride and a couple kiddy rides...

Gold Coast State Finals!

Last weekend we decided to go to Gold Coast's State Pageant as a last minute decision. We wanted to go and root for my niece Sofia who was competing for the Little Miss California title and was also competing in all the modeling as well. Lexi did this last year, see here and here and we know first hand what a big deal this is and how much work it was to get ready for all the competitions so we were excitied to go and cheer Sofia on. It was a lot of fun to see our Gold Coast Family and Friends...It's a pageant reunion every time I go...and it's fun to go and be with all these people who are just as crazy as you are about the pageant world...it's like our own little secret club ;)

Oh and since we were going to the pageant but it was last minute, I asked Lexi if she wanted to do the Talent Competition since she qualified back here and she was excited to do her Bumble Bee routine again...

Saturday's Modeling and Talent Competitions

Sofia did so great in her modeling competitions! Here she is with her award for bathing beauty...and she placed either 1st or 2nd in the other three...

Later that evening Lexi competing in the Tiny Talent division...

...and was crowned CA Gold Coast Tiny Talent Winner 2010!

{this is her first round crown and state title!}

I didn't get a video clip of it when she competed because I was too busy being nervous for her but she did awesome...

Here she is performing the next day at the Beauty Portion of the pageant while we waited for the winners to be crowned...
